I’m sharing a tutorial on how to make a Monogram Burlap Wreath today.
I am slowly getting back into the swing of life. One of the ways I’m doing this is by being creative. Being creative FEEDS MY SOUL! It gives me so much LIFE! It’s still not warm here in Michigan and I am in great need of color and things that feel alive! So I created a wreath for my front door. I was at Michael’s and they had a monogrammed display up and I thought that it would look pretty inside a wreath. I had made a Burlap wreath pre-blog days from a tutorial here. I showed you here how I updated it and like I told you in this post I like to recycle my projects so I took everything off of the wreath and did a redo on it.
1. These are the supplies I used to redo this wreath.
2. I took my piece of wood and spray painted it orange.
3. Once it was dry I added paper to the center (picture not shown.) and then trimmed it with some blue lace.
4. If you look closely at picture #1 you can see the wreath is showing some fading. So I bought some blue burlap and hand pleated and hot glued it on top of the damaged burlap.prom dresses uk store
This covers the fading as well as add some color to the wreath.

5. I then I took my wooden C and embellished it with stuff I found in the $1.50 section at Michael’s.
6. I added the orange polka dot ribbon and tied a knot at the top. I then took a piece of twine and ran it through my wood piece and tied it to my ribbon to allow the wood piece to let it hang in the center.
I LOVE the color it adds to my door when I walk up on my porch,.
