Wall galleries are a huge thing right now in the decorating world. I love the idea and I wanted one, but I wanted one that motivated and inspired me. When I lay in bed I see this. There was another black shelf on the left side that fell off the wall and it was just the motivation I needed to create my inspirational wall gallery.
I happened to be in Michaels one day and they had unpainted frames on clearance for 1.99. I snagged up several in different styles and sizes. I knew they would be perfect for my gallery.
I grabbed my spray paint and started spraying. I chose 2 shades of blue and 2 shades of green.
I placed the frames on the wall in the places I thought would look well. I needed something more and remembered that I had bought some tin trays at the dollar store and liked the shape and sizes and decided to give them a coat of paint. I thought these would be perfect for a monogrammed letter. I spray painted those as well and then added scrapbook paper to the “J”. To attach the trays to a wall I used adhesive Velcro. I also attached the letters using Velcro.
Next came the fun part. Finding inspirational prints that would remind me of what I wanted to live.
The print in the black frame I got off Pinterest somewhere long before I blogged. But I made a chalkboard print with the same message. By the way the black frame was .25 at a garage sale! Score!!
Here are the prints I used in my gallery and they are free for you to download.
This is what I get to wake up to now! LOVE all the fun bright colors and the motivational message. In this world of go,go,go we all need reminders of what we want to live and accomplish.
