How’s your current level of peace? Do you walk around uptight and stressed most of the time or do you live a relaxed, surrendered lifestyle? I want to share some things I’ve recently been learning today on PEACE. I’ve also included some FREE Peace Scripture Memory Cards to help you renew your mind and soak up God’s word.
I have recently been living a very stressed lifestyle. So much so that it has started to affect my health. I want to share with you some of the things I have been learning. Did you know that of the many things satan wants to steal, kill and destroy in your life, he wants your peace?? He wants us uneasy, on edge filled with worry, anxiety and turmoil. He has recently been having a hey day in my life, but that is changing.
Did you know that when you became a Christian you were given the gift of peace? It’s part of the fruit of the spirit. Gal. 5:22. When we became Christians, Jesus brought us a beautiful house warming gift and that was a fruit basket full of many different kinds of fruit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Gentleness, Faithfulness and Self-Control. This basket of fruit was given to us to help us get through life with power and victory!
Jesus tells us:
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14;27
God’s given us the peace, our job is to make sure the fruit isn’t lying unused and dormant. It has to be cultivated and activated in our life.
So, how do we activate peace in our lives when we live in such a chaotic world??
Philipians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Col. 3:15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
Isaiah 26:3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.
When we choose thankful prayers instead of worrying, living in anxiety and fear, we are trusting God. We are concentrating on God instead of problems and this brings trust.
Trust leads to thankfulness and thankfulness activates peace.

2. In the following areas do you see any disharmony, unrest or a lack of peace?
your mind
your heart
your body
between you and a friend
between you and a spouse
between you and a child
between you and a coworker?
Can you see the enemies hand in any of these situations?
How have you handled these situations? Have you used self sufficiency to deal with these issues (which causes more stress) If so take some time to confess these and repent of them and ask God.
I created some scripture cards to help you renew your mind. All you need to do is download them at the link below and then print them on card stock. I laminate mine because I carry them in my purse. Cut them out and punch a hole in the upper left hand corner and add a ring to it.
I love to use my “waiting” time to read them and even memorize them.
You can download them HERE
