Hi Guys! Are you ready for 4th of July?? I’m headed that way. We will have a FULL house this weekend and I’m very excited. My daughters, mom and I recently visited the Frederick Meyers Garden. While there they had a flower show going on and we fell in love with a simple arrangement that my girls encouraged me to try.
Here is my inspiration:
A simple centerpiece using red solo cups and a charger. I thought, hey I could do that!
Here is my take on this centerpiece.
Here’s what you’ll need:
4 cups
1 charger
2 Styrofoam disks
2 Styrofoam balls
8 kebab skewers
toothpicks
spray paint
acrylic paint
glue gun
4th of July picks
To begin spray paint your skewers and toothpicks so they can dry.
Paint your ball with your acrylic paint. Spray paint will melt your ball. (I forgot to take a pic, sorry!)
Take your cups and glue them together as shown.
Glue your Styrofoam disk to the inside of the top cup.
Next add your 4th of July picks to the center of the disk.
Add a long skewer to the middle of the ball. I then took 3 skewers and cut them about 2/3 off. I wanted them a little longer than the toothpicks. I then randomly added the toothpicks alternating the red and blue. When done add it to the center of the picks in the cup.
There you have it, a quick & easy centerpiece that I can easily put into my 4th of July tub and save for next year.
Don’t forget to “ENJOY” your family this weekend. We moms can spend so much energy getting ready we forget why we are doing it.

Great centerpiece but a little dangerous with the toddlers running around. I would have to remove the toothpicks. LOLThank you for linking to Raising Imperfection. Please come back Friday to see if you were featured. :)¤´¨) ¸.•*´ (¸¤ Lanaya | xoxoRaising-Reagan.com
