You’re doing everything you’re “supposed” to do.
You’re praying. You’re serving. You’re biting your tongue. You’re keeping the house running, staying strong for the kids, holding back the tears…
But deep down, you’re worn out.
And if you’re being honest, it feels like nothing is changing—no matter how hard you try.

That, my friend, is the soul-draining weight of burnout.
Pain Point: You’re exhausted, discouraged, and wondering if it’s always going to be this lonely and hard. You’re doing your best, but it doesn’t feel like enough—and you’re starting to wonder if you’re the problem.
But you’re not broken. You’re burned out.
And that’s not the same thing.
Burnout Happens When We Strive in Our Own Strength
There’s a big difference between serving out of love and striving for approval.
One fills your heart.
The other empties it.
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” —Matthew 11:28 NLT
Jesus never said “Try harder.”
He said, Come to Me.
3 Truths That Bring Real Rest
1. You Are Allowed to Rest.
You are not a machine. You are a soul. And God created you with limits.
Sabbath isn’t selfish—it’s sacred.
✨ Give yourself permission to pause.
2. You Can’t Earn What’s Already Been Given.
God doesn’t love you more when you perform.
He loves you because He’s your Father—not your boss.
✨ Lay down the pressure to be perfect.
3. Rest is Resistance Against the Lies of Hustle Culture.
Choosing peace over performance is how we fight back.
✨ Try sitting with Jesus instead of striving to “fix” everything.
Trying harder isn’t the answer.
Coming closer is.
You don’t need to carry it all, fix it all, or be it all.
God isn’t asking you to hustle for healing.
He’s just asking you to come home to His rest. 💛
